COVID-19 Statement

Dear Customers and wider friends of Organic Herb Trading,
 
Whilst the coronavirus outbreak is clearly a rapidly evolving picture, the core of our approach has been to follow UK government guidance. As a result, we have been constantly balancing the duty of care we have to our staff with the responsibility to our global network of suppliers, the needs of our customers and of course - our broader public health responsibilities. Inevitably, this has not always been easy and we know that we are by no means alone in terms of making these difficult judgement calls on a daily basis.

At the time of writing, as a food production and processing business, we are classified as providing necessary goods and our courier DPD is continuing to collect and despatch orders daily - for delivery across the UK and internationally. Like most businesses in our sector, we find ourselves in a challenging position, because we are trying to keep up with increasing demand, whilst supply chains tighten and we have a lower level of human resource. This is as a result of colleagues taking time off to look after their children, office-based staff working from home and a small number of colleagues needing to self-isolate if they, or their close family members have an underlying health condition.

This is inevitably creating a bottleneck and as a result we would appreciate it if you would e-mail info@organicherbtrading.com or your regular point of contact - rather than calling. Under normal circumstances our despatch timescales are 2-3 days – currently they are approximately 5-6.
